Thoughts on Twitter... as it is limited to 140 characters or less, I can see this as an advantage as it provokes short information transfer in a short form. I would thinkconciseness would tend to be the result, hopefully cutting down on extraneous dialogue, and the time wasted in so doing. I'll give it a try and see if this holds true!

LibraryThing
Practical applications at work... a possibility, and might be worth trying out. Just need some more time to familiarize myself with its application, and then perhaps decide whether CPL books, author and e-books offers a better/more concise/broader service for our public. To be seen!

Other Productivity Tools
I would stick to more traditional tools that seemed to have been around an appreciable amount of time to prove, at least, their longevity.If i were to use one of these productivity tools, perhaps I would choose to go the Google route as I am more familiar with how it operates and this would provide me with quicker access to its functions.

Although it took a little more work to set up my RSS account, I found the information options fairly interesting and so chose two I thought would be of interest. I'm not quite sure at this point how often ...

Flickr & You Tube
As a choice in searching for Tunnels on Flickr, different results were found that were quite interesting and could produce opportunities for sharing ideas, photos, and deeper discussions.
You Tube's Did You Know 4.0 provides an opportunity to view what's available IF you have the time to watch. Dramatic chipmunk like the original Alvin the Chipmunk is cute BUT apart from that... of what purpose? Alberta's Libraries, Books and Beyond is of importance only as an amusing lead-up to more important details in the other commercials promoting libraries.
